Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) provides the information necessary to prepare a Proposal to the Sacramento County Probation Department (Probation).  Probation intends to establish an annual contract(s) for the services described in this RFP.  Probation is not required to procure all services from any particular vendor and does not guarantee a minimum quantity of services.  Probation may choose to award to multiple vendors and require vendors to collaborate and coordinate with each other to meet department requirements.The contract(s) resulting from this RFP shall be for an initial three-year period, commencing with execution of the contract by Probation.  For reasons of economy and efficiency, Probation reserves the right to extend contract(s) two additional one-year periods, for a total of five years, upon mutual agreement.  Should a contract be awarded as a result of this RFP, continuance of such a contract for the full period specified shall be contingent upon the satisfactory performance of the vendor.  Continuing or un-rectifiable performance deficiencies may be cause for Probation to cancel any balance of contract.Rates quoted are firm for the initial three-year period.  Thereafter, price increases are negotiable based on cost of living adjustment (COLA) and/or Consumer Price Index (CPI) and must be acceptable to Probation.
