Contractor, hereby agrees to provide and perform the Scope of Services required and necessary to complete the work as set forth below:Scope of Work: Construction of a 12’ wide asphalt shared use path extending from the existing John Yarbrough Linear Trail (JYLP) termination point south of SR 884/Colonial Boulevard, extending north 1.83 miles to Hanson Street. Construction shall generally include installation of new shared use path, 139’ prefabricated steel bridge structure over Ten Mile Canal, 912’ multi- span steel bridge structure, including prestressed concrete beams and a 215' prefabricated steel truss (Span 5) over SR 884/Colonial Blvd., bridge piers and end bents founded on prestressed concrete piles, MSE retaining walls, grading, drainage, sidewalk, signage, and pavement marking improvements.Contractors shall be FDOT prequalified in the following categories:DRAINAGEFLEXIBLE PAVINGGRADINGGRASSING, SEEDING AND SODDINGMINOR BRIDGE - STEEL TRUSS CONSTRUCTIONPAVEMENT MARKINGSIDEWALKHANDRAILSPILE DRIVINGREINFORCED EARTH WALLSRETAINING WALLRIP RAPRUBBLE RIP RAPSPECIAL CONTRACTOR CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS – BRIDGE TRUSS AND BRIDGE AESTHETICS This project is unique due to the required prefabricated bridge trusses and the associated bridge aesthetics required by the City. Only Contech Engineered Solutions, LLC can provide the bridge trusses for this project since they were the only firm to respond to the Invitation to Participate.
