On behalf of the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, the Public Works Department is seeking proposals from interested and qualified consulting firms (CONSULTANT) to develop plans, specifications, and perform all other professional engineering services as may be required to develop restoration projects, feasibility analysis, final design plans, permit applications, and construction bid documents for various types of restoration projects (invasive and nuisance plant removal, native plantings, stream restoration, bank stabilization, mosquito ditch removal, salt barren restoration, channel dredging, etc.) to improve the overall environmental conditions, flood protection, and resiliency in the lower portion of Joe’s Creek (Figure 1). The proposed work is intended to comply with 2 CFR 200 as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) funding awarded to the Tampa Bay Estuary Program (TBEP) through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). TBEP is partnering with Pinellas County (COUNTY) to implement this project.
