JOC for Fire Hydrants and Other Fire Related Services

I. INTRODUCTIONThe City of Tucson, hereinafter referred to as "COT", is conducting a competitive ONE-STEP process to retain ONE (1) Contractor for a job order contract (JOC) to provide detailed construction drawings (example provided), all materials, appurtenances, equipment, supplies, and labor to install fire hydrants, fire services, water meters and connections, short main extensions, purchase and install large meters with the enclosures to go around the site and emergency main extensions and repair work as needed by Tucson Water at various locations. Individual job orders should not exceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) and the estimated budget for the first year is two million dollars ($2,000,000.00). The term of this contract will be one year with four (4) one-year renewal options. However, services will be requested on an as-needed, if-needed basis and the resultant contract is neither exclusive nor a commitment by COT that the Contractor's services will be required.
