JFK Gym Sound Panels and Curtains

Description

The City of Florissant is renovating a gymnasium to be used as a multi-purpose event space. The City is seeking a vendor to design, construct, and install sound panels to reduce echo in the John F. Kennedy Community Center located at 315 Howdershell Rd. Florissant, Mo 63031. The City is seeking a 40% to 60% reduction in noise inside the gymnasium. The sound panels should be 8 feet above the floor extending as high as needed. No panels should be placed on the ceiling regardless of additional sound absorption. The ceiling is architectural and will be a featured focal point of the room. The sound panels should be wrapped in a neutral fabric with options to be decided upon. The City is also seeking a vendor to construct and install IFR velour curtains with a box pleat to be hung from a u-shaped curtain track to be suspended from the ceiling. Curtains will be approximately 22 feet high and encircle four basketball hoops. The Basketball hoops will be in the upright stored position when the curtains are pulled around the basketball hoops. Curtains should have a pull rope or something similar to open and close. Curtains will be breasted to the wall and will require a sash to tie back.
