Janitorial Services for Various Locations

Description

In accordance with Texas Local Government Code 252, the City of Waxahachie (the City) is seeking sealed proposals from qualified Contractors for the purpose of securing janitorial services through an annual contract for various city locations. The professional janitorial services contract will be for certain designated facilities and offices owned and operated by the City. The City shall award the Contractor deemed as the best value in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal (RFP) document. This RFP provides interested firms with the information necessary to prepare and submit their proposal for consideration. The City may request additional information from the Contractors as part of the final selection process. The City intends to award this RFP to a responsive and responsible contractor that proposes the most advantageous proposal for this service considering the evaluation criteria provided. The City intends to enter into a contract with the awarded Contractor for a period of three years beginning on May 01, 2024 and ending April 30, 2027. The contract shall include the option to renew for two additional one-year renewal terms if both parties agree in writing at least ninety (90) days before the end of the initial term. Any price increases, when renewing the agreement, must be submitted to the City at least one hundred and twenty (120) days prior to a potential renewal.
