INTRODUCTIONThe City of Tucson (the “City”) is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide JANITORIAL AND SANITATION SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, AND RELATED SERVICES. The City of Tucson requires a Contractor who provides a diverse and extensive supply of janitorial and sanitation supplies for delivery to various City locations in the Tucson metropolitan area and Participating Public Agencies, as well as a representative(s) to provide onsite product and service consultations, demonstrations, job/task cleaning direction and training.The City seeks a Contractor that can provide a broad supply of products and services to ensure the support of daily maintenance operations. The Contractor will have a sophisticated infrastructure including strategically located, nationwide distribution centers and employ professional sales representatives to provide effective, timely service to the City of Tucson and to Participating Public Agencies.Requirements and qualifications are defined in detail in the Scope of Work Section of this Request for Proposal (RFP).
