All disposal activities must comply with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including those of the U.S. EPA, U.S. DOT, and OSHA.Services must include the cleanup of surfaces contaminated by bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids (e.g., semen, vaginal secretions, saliva, vomit, urine, or feces in significant quantity), and other potentially infectious materials. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for hazmat cleanup, including but not limited to oil and gasoline spills. While hazardous materials are typically in liquid form, this does not exclude other states such as gases. The informal quoting process is used when the Town estimates the total bid amount NOT TO EXCEED F.S. § 287.017(2), as amended, which is currently $35,000.
