Enter project specific details:The Jacksonville Transportation Authority herein after referred to as (the “Authority” or “JTA”) a body politic and corporate and an agency of the State of Florida, located at 100 LaVilla Center Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32204, hereby requests sealed bids for ITB No. 24-016 Acosta Bridge Fall Prevention Handrail System herein after referred to as (“ITB” or the “Bid”)The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide all applicable installation services necessary to complete the Acosta Bridge Fall Prevention Handrail System project for a complete turnkey system as further detailed in Exhibit ‘A’. Sealed Bids will be received by the Authority until the bid closing date and time as stated or published viaany released addenda on the JTA Procurement Portal at https://jtafla.bonfirehub.com.The complete Bid package will be available June 26, 2024, and may be obtained by visiting https://jtafla.bonfirehub.com. A complete examination and understanding of information contained in theBid package is necessary in order for the Bidder to properly submit a Bid. The Bid package also includes a detailed set of Instructions to Bidders. All Bids shall be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The failure to comply with any requirement contained in the Bid may result in the rejection of the Bid as non-responsive or a finding that the Bidder is not qualified.
