SECTION 00 11 16-1 INVITATION TO BID 2026 ROOFING AND FAÇADE REPAIRS HENDERSONVILLE CITY HALL BUILDING HENDERSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA SECTION 00 11 16 INVITATION TO BID The City of Hendersonville Public Works Department invites you to submit bids for the following project: 2026 Roofing and Facade Repairs Hendersonville City Hall Building 160 6th Avenue East Hendersonville, North Carolina 28792 Sealed bids will be received prior to the bid opening at the office of: City of Hendersonville Public Works Department 305 Williams Street Hendersonville, North Carolina 28792 Attention: Mr. Chris Conard Construction Division Manager Bids submitted at the bid opening must be received prior to the time for opening bids. The Bid Opening will be held at the following location: City of Hendersonville Public Works Department 305 Williams Street Hendersonville, North Carolina 28792 Bids will be received until 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened thereafter for the furnishing of labor, material, equipment, and services necessary or required for the construction. However, if less than three (3) bids are received bids will not be opened and the project will be re-bid. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Bids will be received for a single-prime contract to include all work indicated in the contract documents for the remediation work which will be Substantially Complete within four (4) months from time of commencement. ’ A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held onsite at Hendersonville City Hall on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Immediately after the Pre-Bid meeting, Contractors are invited to walk the project site with SKA and Hendersonville Public Works Department. If Contractor wishes to visit the site on a later date, they must coordinate those site visits with the Hendersonville Public Works Department.
