IT On-Call Professional Services

The City of Palo Alto is inviting proposals from qualified vendors to provide on-call, time-limited professional support services for its Information Technology (IT) Department. The goal of this project is to establish a pool of vendors capable of addressing specialized IT needs on an as-needed basis. These services aim to enhance the City's IT environment, including server/network management, cloud system migration, disaster recovery planning, and infrastructure updates.Key project areas include network and system updates, security compliance, data backup solutions, application development, and SharePoint consultation. Vendors will be expected to bring specialized expertise, such as project management, network engineering, and application development, while ensuring high standards in pre-screening, background checks, and technical assessments for assigned personnel.This initiative offers an opportunity for vendors to collaborate with the City of Palo Alto in optimizing its IT infrastructure, supporting its mission to maintain a robust, secure, and efficient technology landscape that meets evolving organizational and community needs.
