Irrigation Systems Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service

Description

The Town of Hingham requests quotes for preventive maintenance and repair, winterization, a mid-season check-up, spring start up, and on-call maintenance for existing irrigation systems at all Town of Hingham athletic fields. The successful contractor shall be required to perform base services and related supplemental services at any of the irrigation zones on an as needed basis, as directed by the Recreation Director.(See Attachment A for specific list of Zones by location). NOTE: The Town does not have existing zone maps of these systems.  Although the sprinkler heads are easily located at each field, the POCs, valves and valve boxes likely are not.  We recognize that locating and mapping each POC, valve and valve box would be time consuming and potentially cost prohibitive, thus have included it as an optional service on the Price Table. The Town reserves the sole right to determine whether this service is performed or not.
