OTERO COUNTY LANDFILL INC. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department INVITATION TO REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department are requesting RFP for one (1) 6foot no till grass drill. All RFP’s must be received prior to October 14, 2026, close of business at the Otero County Public Works Office, 411 N. 10th St. Rocky Ford, Colorado 81067, for questions call Phone: 719-4688878 or 719-652-0088. Enclosed are minimum specifications as determined by the Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department. Must be 6-foot in width, grass drill with an agitator and be a pull type. Please note clearly in the RFP any alternatives or deviations from said specifications and include justification for acceptance of same. RFP must show total cost to Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department. Before award of the contract, the successful RFP may be required to satisfy the Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department as to experience and competence to provide the product in question. The Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department may make such investigations as it deems necessary to determine the ability of the dealer to meet the required needs, and the dealer shall furnish to the Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department all such information and data for this purpose as the they may request. The Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department reserves the right to reject any RFP if the evidence submitted by or the investigation of such dealer fails to satisfy the Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department that such dealer is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to deliver the products contemplated therein. Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department reserves the right to reject any and all RFP, waive irregularities and accept the RFP which, in its opinion, best serves the needs and purposes of the Otero County Landfill Inc. and Otero County Road and Bridge Department. The Otero County Landfill Inc. is exempt from all taxes under Certificate No. 84-1306943. The dealer must submit the attached RFP form or formal quote sheet along with the latest printed specifications and advertising literature on the units they propose to furnish.
