INVITATION TO BID PONEY CREEK RD BRIDGE REHABILITATION Sealed bids for the Proposal for the Rehabilitation of Cass County Bridge #3060004 will be received at: Cass County Road and Bridge, 30508 S. West Outer Road, Harrisonville MO 64701, until 10:00 o’clock A.M. (Prevailing Local Time) on the 4th day of November 2026, at the office of the Cass County Road and Bridge Department, and at that time will be publicly opened and read. All bids shall be submitted as a Hard Copy. The proposed work includes: Demolition of existing bridge deck, curb, and guardrails and installation of new bridge deck with guardrails. Painting of girder ends and spot treatment of girders throughout. A digital copy of the plans and specifications may be purchased through the office of Great River Engineering (GRE), at 417-886-7171 upon payment of $75.00, which is not refundable. All bidders must purchase plans through Great River Engineering and be on the planholder list in order to bid the project. This contract requires payment of the prevailing hourly rate of wages for each craft or type of worker required to execute the contract as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. The applicable State Wage Rates for this contract are detailed in "Annual Wage Order 33", that is attached to this bidding document. These supplemental bidding documents have important legal consequences. It shall be conclusively presumed that they are in the bidder's possession, and they have been reviewed and used by the bidder in the preparation of any bid submitted on this project. The Cass County Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. All bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2026, Second Edition Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening.
