NOTICE INVITING BIDS Project Title: Cloud-Based Door Access Control System Installation (Verkada Platform) Bid / RFP Number: RFP-2026-ACS01 Issuing Organization: Gwinn Area Community Schools Date of Issuance: July 26, 2026 1. Project Overview & Objective Gwinn Area Community Schools ("Owner") is issuing this Notice Inviting Bids to solicit competitive, sealed proposals from qualified, licensed, and certified security integration contractors ("Bidder" or "Contractor") to furnish, and install a complete turnkey cloud-based physical door access control system utilizing the Verkada Hardware and Command Software Platform. The primary objective of this project is to replace existing legacy, proprietary, or end-of-life access control infrastructure across our High school Buildin covering approximately 58 interior doors and 9 exterior doors. The resulting installation must deliver reliable centralized management, remote access control, real-time alert monitoring, scalable user credentialing, and high system availability without requiring on-premises server infrastructure. Supporting access controllers and wireless bridges are required. 2. Comprehensive Scope of Work The selected Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, licensing, programming, testing, and documentation required for a fully operational, turn-key system installation. The scope encompasses the following core operational areas: 2.1 Hardware Procurement & Licensing ●​ Verkada Door Controllers: Supply enterprise door controllers (e.g., Verkada AC42 4-Door Controller, AC62 16-Door Controller, or equivalent Verkada controller models). ●​ Verkada Card Readers: Supply Verkada multi-technology card readers (e.g., AD33 / AD32 series supporting Bluetooth, NFC, mobile credentials, and high-frequency/low-frequency cards) at each designated doorway. ●​ Verkada Software Command Licenses: Provide official Verkada Cloud Command licenses for every connected door for a duration of 10-Year terms. All licenses must be activated directly under Gwinn Area Community School’s primary organization account. ●​ Locking & Peripheral Hardware: Supply or integrate with electrified locking hardware (electrified panic hardware, mortise locks, magnetic locks), door position switches (DPS), request-to-exit (REX) motion sensors, and emergency break-glass units as required per door spec sheet. 3.
