CITY OF RUTLAND CITY HALL, 1 STRONGS AVENUE POST OFFICE BOX 969 RUTLAND, VERMONT 05702 INVITATION TO BID Pursuant to Chapter 17 of the Revised Charter of the City of Rutland, Vermont sealed bids are requested for the following: 2026 UNCONTROLLED CROSSWALK IMPROVEMENTS The City of Rutland is soliciting bids from experienced contractors to furnish and install pavement markings of the type and color indicated at the specified locations. This solicitation includes all material, labor, equipment and services necessary to provide and successfully install the pavement markings specified. In order to be considered responsive to this bid, each proposal shall be submitted to Sara Magro, Purchasing Agent, by mail, hand delivery, or via the city’s online bid submission portal no later than: Submittal Deadline: 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026. Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at the regularly scheduled Rutland City Board of Finance meeting at City Hall on: Proposal Opening: 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026 Bid Submission Instructions Submission By Mail or Hand Delivery 1. Submit two (2) completed copies of the Bid Sheet in a sealed envelope as described in the attached scope of work. 2. Visit www.rutlandcity.org 2. Under the “Resources” tab, select “Submit Proposals & Bids” 3. Select “Bids” and search for “2026 Uncontrolled Crosswalk Improvements” as the Project Title. If any of the above requirements are not met, the bid will not be considered. Prior to beginning any work, the Contractor shall provide the municipality with one or more Certificate(s) of Insurance showing evidence of all coverages required below and naming the municipality as an Additional Insured.
