Description

The City of St. Petersburg, Florida (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified insurance carriers to provide group dental insurance coverage for active and retired employees and their eligible dependents who select coverage (“Members”).  The City is seeking the most comprehensive coverage at the lowest, long-term cost. The City will not consider proposals from brokers.Offeror shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, travel, facilities, informational materials, and equipment required to provide a group dental insurance plan (“Dental Plan”).  Offeror shall provide administrative services, attend meetings and provide documentation including, but not limited to, brochures of the Plan, member insurance cards and reports.  Offeror shall administer the Plan in compliance with the requirements of the Agreement and all applicable laws and regulations.The City reserves the right to add to or otherwise modify this Scope of Services at any time prior to the final execution of an Agreement. The City is also seeking proposals for self-funding of its dental plan.
