Insurance Broker of Record / Fee Based Consultant

The County of Greenville is seeking proposals from licensed brokers for the placement of a Broker of Record/Fee Based Consultant for its self-insured Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), basic and supplemental life, LTD, accident, diabetes disease management, COBRA administration for approximately 2,700 benefit eligible employees including agency employees (7 agencies) and retirees.  Additionally, Stop Loss Insurance is purchased.The vision of the County of Greenville is to offer quality benefits to our employees while achieving the best value.  Our desire is to have a consultant on board who can demonstrate a commitment to provide the highest quality employee-centered, cost-effective, insurance available.  The consultant will work closely with our team and ensure the welfare of the County's employees first and foremost.  The County seeks a top-notch insurance program that is controlled in-house with the guidance of professionals who are best suited to help the County meet its benefits objectives.The County desires to enter into a one-year contract with the possibility of four annual renewals, with a Broker of Record capable of performing the services specified herein.
