The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is inviting the contracting community to an Industry Review of C20120 - Eastridge to BART Regional Connector (EBRC) Project on July 23, 2020, from 10am to 12pm. The virtual meeting will be held at Zoom.us App. VTA staff will be also be available online from 9:00am to 10:00am to help potential contractors in the registration process. Please refer to attached webinar instructions.The EBRC Project will extend light rail service approximately 2.4 miles along Capitol Expressway from the existing Alum Rock Light Rail Station to the Eastridge Transit Center. The EBRC extension will operate primarily in the median of Capitol Expressway within a partially exclusive and partially semi-exclusive right-of-way. The EBRC scope of work includes the construction of an aerial guideway (with MSE Wall approaches), trackwork, two passenger stations, systems (including two traction power substations), and minor road widening. The project will be advertised for construction during the 4th quarter of 2020.The following draft documents will be posted online on July 15, 2020•Draft Project Drawings•Draft Specifications•Environmental Document; and Mitigation Monitoring & Reporting Program (MMRP)•Geotechnical ReportVTA will schedule one-on-one meetings (either in person or virtual, as appropriate) between August 24, 2020 and August 28, 2020, with potential prime contractors, upon request, to discuss noteworthy review comments.
