Industry Day for Airfield Civil and Paving and an Aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE)

This is not a formal solicitation, but a Notice of an Industry Day for interested parties to attend.  Participation in this Industry Day is voluntary.  The Aviation Authority is holding an Industry Day event to inform construction contractors that this critical airfield project is Coming Soon, is being bid within the next couple of weeks, and to inform the construction industry of the opportunities for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation so they can get started on teaming arrangements, and to generate increased competition for the project.The work involves Airfield Civil and Paving and an Aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE) facility, includingUnderground utilities on the ramp and airfield, including drainage, potable water, power, and aircraft fueling systemConstruction of all grading, base and pavement for ramp areas, South remain overnight (RON) area, taxiway/apron expansion, construction of all pavement markings, taxiway signage, high mast lighting, and airfield lighting.Construction of North RON electrical and associated work, and apron lightingConstruction of all grading, base and pavement for a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) facility, fuel facility, grinder stations with canopies, building, emergency power generator, domestic and international trash garbage facilities, fencing, markings, signage, and lighting, underground utilities, drainage, potable water, sanitary, power, and fiberNo purchase or contract will be made as a result of the Industry Day.
