Industrial Sludge, Water Extraction & Disposal Services for COTA

Description

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive sludge and water removal, transportation, and disposal services across its operating facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for safely extracting sludge and wastewater from interceptors, bus wash pits, steam cleaning systems, and related infrastructure, and ensuring proper disposal in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.This contract requires a highly capable partner with the technical expertise, equipment, and regulatory knowledge to manage waste streams that may vary in composition and classification. The contractor will assume full responsibility for the handling, transport, and lawful disposal of all materials, including proper documentation, labeling, and reporting. COTA is particularly interested in firms that demonstrate strong environmental stewardship, rapid response capabilities, and a proven ability to operate safely and efficiently within active, high-demand transit facilities.
