Pendergast School District covers 20 square miles and serves the communities of Phoenix, Glendale, and Avondale. The District boundaries are from Glendale Avenue to the North, I-10 to the South, 83rd Avenue to the East, and Agua Fria River to the West. The District provides excellent educational opportunities for approximately 9,000 preschool through eighth-grade students on 12 campuses. Villa de Paz Elementary is a preschool - 8th grade school located in the West Valley of Phoenix, AZ. Villa de Paz is a place where innovation, discovery, teamwork, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and excellence happen every day! Currently, Villa de Paz has an enrollment of over 600 students with approximately 200 middle school students.Villa de Paz is currently undergoing a major renovation that will provide eleven additional classrooms, a new art room, and a new immersive media classroom that will be utilized to deliver immersive experiential learning content to students using virtual reality devices.The immersive classroom will have the capacity for a minimum of 18 students to simultaneously experience immersive content within approximately 890 square feet.
