The vessel is currently equipped with a 90 HP Mercury outboard engine; however, operational demands have identified the need for increased horsepower and enhanced performance to support marine patrol operations. The department intends to upgrade the patrol vessel to a 115 HP Mercury outboard engine and reassign the existing 90 HP engine to the department’s pontoon boat for continued departmental use.
