Housing Action Plan

Description

The City of Golden is inviting proposals from qualified firms or consultants to conduct a comprehensive Housing Action Plan that contains the required components of C.R.S § 24-32-3705 for the defined limits outlined in the description. In addition to the components required by statute, the City of Golden requests a narrative analysis of historic housing barriers, a review of existing programmatic local offerings of housing support and services, and an analysis of existing forms of public funding. The firm(s) or consultant(s) will be expected to complete 3 primary tasks: 1) information and data collection; 2) public outreach and engagement; and 3) production of a comprehensive Local Housing Action Plan, which includes a Housing Needs Assessment and the development and proposal of three affordable housing strategies and one displacement mitigation strategy. The firm and/or consultant's findings will be used to form a Housing Action Plan as required by C.R.S § 24-32-3705 at a future date.
