M cKerna n MONROE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION Renovations to the Home Economics Classroom at the Williamstown High School 700 Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ 08094 Addendum No. 1 July 24, 2025 Architect’s Project No. 1313 GENERAL INFORMATION:  Item #09 in the Equipment Schedule is a wire rack, 18” x 36” x 63” high.  The exterior fence that will surround the mechanical equipment is to be 6’-0” high.  See attached cut sheet for reference for the existing Econ Air hood. FYI, Captive Aire makes Econ Air exhaust hoods and the make-up air unit specified in the mechanical drawings is designed to integrate together with the exhaust hood.  The Contractor is responsible for moving the hood as necessary to install the steel angle for the roof vent opening at the underside of the metal decking.  The exhaust hood was purchased and hung but is not operational. The stainless steel panels are on site. The Contractor is responsible for hook-up of the exhaust unit.  The existing Fire Alarm Vendor is OSI for maintenance / new work.  Concerning the tie in to the underground plumbing shown in the corridor, the terrazzo floor is not a real terrazzo floor, it is a vinyl product with a terrazzo look.  Work hours will be 6 am to 2 pm.  The exhaust vent through the roof is existing. The roof material in that area is EPDM roofing. A curb was installed. There is no additional exterior roof work at this time.  A staging area will be outside the work are and will be coordinated with the School District.  A new make-up air unit is specified to be installed with associated duct-work as necessary.  Concerning school security, contractors will be screened and issued badges through the Raptor VisitorSafe system.
