Hillview Drive Drainage Improvements

Scope of Work: The scope of work of the project is to provide positive drainage for Hillview Drive by adjusting the vertical profile of the roadway, adding curb and gutter, storm drain inlets and storm sewer pipe, and routing runoff using the proposed improvements to a new pond which will be constructed behind the Pentecostal Church of God at 560 Hillview Drive. The roadway currently floods during even relatively minor rainfall events and experiences sustained inundation following major storms, making the roadway hazardous and contributing to flooding of homes and businesses along the corridor. The purpose of the project is to alleviate said flooding along the roadway for the 10-year 24-hour storm event. In accordance with the Technical Specifications and Plans.Minimum Qualifications: Contractor or Sub-Contractor must be FDOT Pre-qualified in the following work classes: 7. Drainage, 9. Fencing, 10. Flexible Paving, 12. Grassing, Seeding and Sodding, 40.
