Hill Ave Library Roof Replacement and Structural Connections Upgrade

Description

The City of Pasadena Public Works Engineering Division is seeking a licensed and experienced contractor to replace the existing roofing of the Hill Avenue historic branch library and to upgrade structural connections for said building. The scope of work also includes restriping the existing parking lot, repairs to existing cracked wood beams and plaster ceilings, existing interior wood elements surface cleaning and providing new insulation at existing ceiling level. Please see plans and specs in the "Attachments" section for complete scope of work and details.Plans have already been reviewed by the City of Pasadena Design & Historic Preservation and by the permit center and have already been approved. Also, permit fees have already been paid. The awarded contractor will be responsible to stop by at the City of Pasadena permit center, fill out all necessary paperwork and obtain the permit and stamped plans from permit center. Also, the awarded contractor will be responsible to schedule inspections with the City of Pasadena Building & Safety, Planning and Historic Preservation Divisions at various stages of the work and obtain the final inspection approval and the certificate of occupancy at the conclusion of the work. Also, the awarded contractor is responsible for paying refundable and non-refundable portions of the material recycling (C&D) fees to the City permit center when pulling the permit and is responsible for handling the entire C&D (Green Halo) process in order to comply with the City C&D requirements.
