INVITATION TO BID SOUTH HOLLY STREET SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1 (Engineer): W2 Engineers, LLC (Owner): Holly Hills Water and Sanitation District Bids will be received electronically by the District Engineer Will Raatz at will.raatz@w2eng.com until 2:00 p.m. local time on August 13th, 2026. Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a copy of a cashier’s check, or a Bid Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all bids that have been duly received will be opened and recorded. A bid summary will be provided to all Bidders and to any other interested party upon request. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid. The work to be performed generally includes: Phase 1 removal and replacement of sanitary sewer pipe and manholes in South Holly Place and Yale Avenue right-of-ways. In addition to the materials, excavation, and backfill required for the above, work shall include potholing existing utilities, traffic control, bypass pumping, erosion control, service connections, soil disposal, and asphalt patching. Bids shall be submitted on a lump sum basis for the base bid with a bid option for additional work described herein. The award may be on the basis of the base bid or of the combined total of the base bid and bid option. Copies of the Drawings, Specifications and other Bid and Contract Documents for use in preparing Bids may be obtained electronically from the Engineer (will.raatz@w2eng.com) on or after July 23rd, 2026. Hardcopies of the Construction Documents will not be provided. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish the original bid bond or cashier’s check, Insurance a Performance, Payment and Warranty Bond guaranteeing faithful performance. No Bids may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date Bids are opened.
