Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

Description

Taos County is seeking contracts to conduct an assessment and provide hazard mitigation recommendations for Taos County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update. The final deliverable shall identify hazards facing the county and its incorporated municipalities. It also will prepare a plan for addressing these through local efforts and seeking federal and state funding.  It will also identify and coordinate existing local efforts by federal (BLM, USFS), state (State Forestry, NM Homeland Security and Emergency Management), and local (County Sheriff, County Fire, municipal fire, municipal law enforcement, EMS) plans and resources.
