Sarasota County is requesting quotes from Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agents to perform all work and permitting necessary to temporarily relocate gopher tortoises from a utility construction area located at a County's Longwood Dr. Blvd. Utility Easement (next to Parcel ID 001630001) in Sarasota County. Awarded vendor shall apply for and attain the appropriate gopher tortoise relocation permit from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and then subsequently capture and temporarily exclude tortoises from utility constrcution site, in accordance with FWC permitting guidelines.
