Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ Addendum No. 1 January 30, 2025 Architect’s Project No. 1016H GENERAL INFORMATION: • Fees for the building permit will be waived by the Township. Specifications: • Contractor responsible for third party inspections. Please see testing allowance ($15,000.00) in specifications. • Please note General Allowance ($75,000.00) in specifications for unforeseen conditions. • Contractor to coordinate the refurbishment / replacement of the clock. Please see allowance ($8,000.00) in the specifications for this work. Note, McKernan Architects is currently researching Clock Restoration / Replacement Consultants. • Section 012300 - Add Alternate #2 – Provide and install four (4) moveable lights as per Theater Systems drawings (See dwg. TS1.4). See attached specifications section and revised Bid Forms. • Note, the Contractor SDA Prequalification form or the Uncompleted Projects / project amount form is not needed for this project. • Note, the project is a prevailing wage rate project. Please provide prevailing wage rate form as required. See specifications. • Note, the project also requires apprenticeship program. Please provide apprenticeship form as required. See specifications. Architectural Drawings: • Contractor to remove existing safe deposit boxes in the existing first floor vault and dispose of properly. • Contractor to leave existing wood stud furring and conduit in place on the walls at the large multipurpose room and install metal stud wall in front of wood furring as tight to the wall as possible. Metal stud wall to be fastened to existing wall securely as necessary for new work. • Install hat channels with 5/8” GWB on the inside walls of the vault. • Provide closed cell spray insulation on walls and roof on existing building (vs open cell spray foam insulation). R-value = R-21 at walls and R-30 at underside of roof deck. • Build up flooring at first floor level with plywood sheathing as necessary approx. 60 s.f. x 1.5” prior to installing floor leveling compound. • Apply Uzin PE 280 Primer (or equal) as necessary to floor sheathing prior to the installation of the floor leveling compound. • Note, floor leveling compound to be installed at all of 1st floor level.
