The City of Gary, Indiana is seeking a partner(s) to help deploy ubiquitous, accessible and affordable high-speed broadband to every home and business within the City. The intended plan is to partner with a service provider(s) to build, operate & maintain a government middle mile fiber ring leveraging the City's ARPA funds and working together to obtain additional State funding to ensure the partner deploys commercial and residential retail broadband.The City of Gary seeks to do this in a way that ensures quality service, protects the City from unplanned future obligations and effectively leverages public dollars to get the best result.
