Furnish and Install Two (2) Snow Plow Assemblies and Two (2) V-Box Spreaders on City-Owned Vehicles

The City of New Carrollton ("the City") is soliciting written quotations from qualified vendors to furnish, deliver, install, test, and warrant two (2) complete municipal-grade snow plow assemblies and two (2) hopper-type ("V-box") granular material spreaders on two (2) existing City-owned Peterbilt trucks.The City maintains approximately 23 centerline miles of municipal roadway consisting primarily of residential streets, cul-de-sacs, and limited collector roadways. Equipment furnished under this RFQ must be suitable for repeated freeze/thaw cycles, mixed rock salt and treated salt applications, and confined residential street operation with parked vehicles on both sides.The award will be made as a single, all-inclusive turnkey package. The successful vendor ("the Contractor") shall be responsible for the complete, operational installation of all equipment, including all hydraulic, electrical, structural, and control system work necessary to render each vehicle fully functional for winter operations.
