Forestry Consulting Services on Request for County-Owned Timber Properties

Washington County Facilities and Parks Services Division is seeking proposals for forestry consulting services on request for County-owned timber properties. Proposer must have forest management certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and manage the County timber parcels following these guidelines.Washington County owns approximately three hundred ten (310) acres of either forest-land or other resource lands containing forest tree species. This acreage is comprised of five (5) tracts that vary in size from fourteen (14) acres to eighty (80) acres and includes one property leased from the Bureau of Reclamation consisting of approximately 2526 acres. All are legally capable of some degree of active forest management but are in various stages of forest condition.
