Forest Grove Aquatic Center Main Pool Tile

The City of Forest Grove is seeking bids to demo and replace the existing tile around our municipal swimming pool. These tile have been in place for over 50 years. About 6 inches of the tile are below the water line and the rest above. We understand that the rounded tile involved are likely not available anymore and that this detail would need to be different, therefor this is a design build project. As well the back side of the submerged tile where the water spills over into the gutter has some erosion in some places. We would like to have the areas with erosion filled with a concrete product to stabilize the gutter lip. If you are interested in providing a bid you will need to make an appointment to meet with staff and look at the project in person. The deadline for providing a quote will be September 12, 2024. We intend on draining the pool on March 3, 2025 and the work to start. Your bid will need to include and estimated completion date so that we can plan accordingly. The City will determine the actual scope of the final project based on the bids.
