Pierce County is seeking proposals from non-profit organizations to organize and distribute nutritious food and meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in Pierce County in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP). The funding for this appropriation is federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, for which the successful proposer(s) shall be a subrecipient of federal funds. Proposers must have an active Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) issued from sam.gov at the time of submission. For this competition, the County estimates a total of $1,350,000.00 will be available for an 18-month period from July 1, 2024, through December 31, 2025. Additional federal, State, or local funds may become available during the contracting cycle and allocated through this RFP. Funding may only be awarded for the same scope of services as described in this RFP.
