City of Twin Falls, Idaho Fleet Management Plan Request for Qualifications Invitation The City of Twin Falls, Idaho is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to create a City-wide Fleet Management Plan to review current fleet management practices, inventory, research optimal utilization of current assets, and create a schedule for optimal vehicle replacement cycles. The city does not currently have a comprehensive fleet management plan. Project Description The City of Twin Falls is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide professional services to create a Fleet Management Plan addressing the following issues: Review of Fleet Management Practices Evaluate and Analyze Maintenance Shop staffing and expertise levels Evaluate and Analyze asset acquisition procedure Evaluate and Analyze available facilities and fleet forecasting tools for future needs Provide findings for optimizing management of current and future assets Conduct Fleet Utilization and Rightsizing Study Data collection Identify underutilized assets Create plan for optimizing current assets Provide findings of cost savings and recommendations Conduct a Fleet Replacement Study Determine optimal replacement cycles Analyze replacement costs and minimum funding thresholds Present findings and recommendations The proposal must be organized in sections containing the following information: Description of Firm: Describe your firm’s legal structure, areas of expertise, length of time in business, number of employees, and other information that would help to characterize the firm.  Provide the address of the main office (for legal purposes) and the address of the office that will manage the project. Experience: Briefly describe other projects executed by your firm that demonstrate relevant experience. However, extensive descriptions of vaguely related projects are discouraged.  Also, list all public sector clients for whom you have performed similar work in the past ten years.  For each project mentioned, include the name, address and phone number of a person who can be contacted regarding your performance on the project.  When submitting projects for which your firm worked in an auxiliary capacity or in a joint venture or partnership, include the name of the lead firm.
