Five Bridges Repairs Project - Johnson Street Bridge

The City of Hollywood, Florida (City) is seeking bids from qualified and experienced firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor or Bidder, to provide Bridge Repairs to the existing Johnson Street Bridge located over the C-10 Canal, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation and in conjunction with the structural drawings and other contract documents.The Johnson Street bridge is the first bridge repair project in the City of Hollywood as part of the overall Five Bridges Repairs project.  The remaining four bridges will be bid under two separate contracts, which are anticipated to be advertised for bidding within the next year.The work to be performed for the Johnson Street Bridge Repair consists of bridge repair, including pile repair, substructure repair and superstructure repair; removal of the existing pedestrian bridges and construction of one replacement pedestrian bridge; installation of fencing and signage; guardrail repair; and other associated work as identified in the contract documents. The project also includes development and implementation of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, design and implementation of any required shoring, design and implementation of a maintenance of traffic plan, and all required construction permitting.
