An appropriate and qualified, professional Consultant is sought to develop, validate, administer and score promotional exam processes for Fire Training Ranks within the New Haven Fire Department.Said selection process should incorporate best practices currently used in the field of pre-employment testing that are determined appropriate for use in the Department of Fire Service. Bidders are further noticed that all proposals must:recommend processes that meet all legal requirements,recommend processes that meet all relevant Federal EEOC guidelines,recommend processes that are cost effective.As of the publishing of this RFP, there is a need to identify candidates best suited for promotion to the positions of Director of Training, Drillmaster, and Assistant Drillmaster, considering the parameters of a rule of three ranks merit system.
