The City of Pasadena Fire Department is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a Comprehensive Fee Study for the Fire Prevention / Community Risk Reduction Division. The Department provides critical services including plan review, inspection, code enforcement, hazardous materials oversight, and public safety education.The purpose of this study is to:Analyze the full cost of providing Fire Prevention services.Evaluate the adequacy of current fees and revenue streams.Recommend a fee schedule that improves cost recovery while remaining transparent, equitable, and legally defensible.Ensure that recommended fees support long-term sustainability of prevention programs and align with the City’s broader fiscal policies.
