Description

The Fire Department utilizes equipment that is specific to operational need and is based on industry recommended standards and replacement cycles. Pricing page includes items in this bid and may not be inclusive of all items.The intention of the bid is to award bid to the lowest priced per item. Vendors are encouraged to bid on any or all items they can supply. The City reserves the right to use the next best bidder should the equipment not be available from the primary bidder. All equipment can be substituted for like for like or similar equipment due to equipment changes and or supply chain issue delays. Note: Substitution must be authorized by the Santa Monica Fire Department. The awarded bidder must provide a 30-day notice of discontinued or unavailable items and proposed alternative. For items not listed please provide a percentage discount off catalog pricing (Percent given off of MSRP-Government Rate) in the vendor submission section of this bid. The City has a right to purchase items off equipment catalogs at the same agreed upon rate.
