GRAND PRAIRIE WATER COMMISSION Channahon, Crest Hill, Joliet, Minooka, Romeoville & Shorewood, Illinois Will, Kendall and Grundy Counties, Illinois Grand Prairie Water Commission (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Work: Alternative Water Source Program (AWSP) Finished Water Transmission Main – Segment A AWSP-02-01 Bids for the construction of the Work will be received electronically in accordance with the instructions herein until October 29, 2026 at 3:00 PM local time in Joliet, Illinois. At 3:30 PM local time in Joliet, Illinois that day, the Bids received will be opened and read in a virtual meeting at a link to be provided to the bidders submitting a bid upon receipt of said bid. The Work includes the following: Part A – AWSP-02-01 Finished Water Transmission Main – Segment A Installation of 4.5 miles of 66-inch diameter water transmission main with open cut and trenchless installation; pipeline appurtenances and structures; fiber optic conduit and structures; removal and replacement of storm sewer laterals and service sewers; cathodic protection equipment site work and test stations; removal and construction of new pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveways; traffic control and traffic signals; and related work. The Work is located on 87th Street between Kedvale Avenue and Oketo Avenue; and on Kedvale Avenue between 87th and 85th Streets. Part B – 87th Street (CH B42) – S Oketo Avenue to Cicero Avenue Resurfacing of existing pavement, pavement patching, median improvements, sidewalk improvements, traffic signal replacements, traffic signal detector loop replacements, ADA ramp improvements, curb and gutter improvements, structure adjustments and proposed drainage pipe cleaning. Stantec Consulting Services Inc. is the Engineer for this Work. Obtaining the Bidding Documents Bidding Documents will be available on September 17, 2026. In order to obtain a copy of the Bidding Documents, a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required.
