The purpose of this bid, and the requirement contract awarded following an evaluation of the bids received, is to provide 975,000 dry pounds of anhydrous ferric chloride in aqueous solution for the enhanced precipitation of soluble phosphorous in the processes at the Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant, Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center, and Westerly Wastewater Treatment Center (WWTPs) of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD). This contract is for a twelve (12) month period or until funds appropriated to this contract are exhausted.
