Fare Inspection and Security Staffing Services, Technology and/or Integrated Solutions - Request for Information

Regional Public Transportation Authority and Valley Metro Rail, Inc., jointly and severally (the “Agency”), are seeking information from interested parties who can provide fare inspection and security staffing services, hardware, software, and/or integrated solutions. Agency is interested in receiving a wide range of information to understand what is available in the market, the extent to which goods, services, and technology are available separately or in an integrated solution, and experience and best practices in the industry. Submittals are welcome even if the proposed goods or services meet only one or more of the described goods and services.Agency is not interested in receiving information regarding the following goods and services:Body-worn camera technologyArmed security servicesCCTV camerasTHIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), an Invitation for Bid (IFB), or a promise to issue an RFP or IFB in the future. This request for information does not commit the Agency to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Any and all costs associated with or arising from the RFI process incurred by the Interested Party shall be absorbed by the Interested Party, without reimbursement by the Agency.
