Fair Oaks Ave Pavement Street Repairs

Description

The Work covered in this Specification is located on Fair Oaks Ave from Washington Boulevard to Montana Street in the City of Pasadena, California. The Contractor’s work shall include the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, apparatus, transportation, and all other services necessary and incidentals to the construction of all Portland cement concrete (PCC), permanent asphalt concrete, and rubberized asphalt concrete paving of water main trenches and water utility cuts, and the necessary installation of concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, gate valve cans, striping, and miscellaneous appurtenant work complete in place for the Water and Power Department of the City of Pasadena in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (“Greenbook”) and Supplements and Modifications to the “Greenbook” and City of Pasadena Standard Plans, including but not limited to the following:A. Providing traffic control plans and traffic control approved by City of Pasadena Public Works for the duration of the project;B. Providing construction surveying;C. Removal of existing and replacement with new street concrete pavement and new street asphalt;D. Clean-up and miscellaneous housekeeping work as directed by the General Manager or his/her authorized representatives;E. Replacement of sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and gutters;F. Reinstalling all traffic striping, markings, raised pavement markers, and traffic loop detectors;G. Steel plates will be required to temporarily cover concrete patches
