Town of Sullivan’s Island Request for Proposal (RFP) Addendum #1 EXTERNAL OPERATIONAL REVIEW: SULLIVAN’S ISLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT Date: June 8, 2026 From: Town of Sullivan’s Island RE: Addendum to RFP for External Operational Review of the Sullivan’s Island Fire Department NOTICE TO ALL POTENTIAL RESPONDENTS This Request for Proposal (RFP) is modified as set forth in the Addendum. The original RFP Documents remain in full force and effect, except as modified by this addendum, which is hereby made part of the RFP. Respondent shall take this addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting its proposal. PROPOSAL SUBMITTAL DEADLINE The submittal deadline is not changed by this addendum. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1. Question: Will there be any release of all the questions received by the town and the responses? Answer: Yes, all answers will be made in the form of an addendum to the original RFP, and will be posted on the Town’s webpage for RFPs no later than Monday, June 8, 2026: Request for Proposals | Town of Sullivan's Island Official Website 2. Question: Is there a requested/preferred project completion timeline and/or date? Answer: While there is no set completion date, we would expect the auditor to place his/her full attention to this and complete within two months of the start date, or date of the executed contract. If there are unforeseen delays in providing necessary information in order to complete the audit, the town would be reasonable in expectations. 3. Question: What is the budgeted amount for this project? Answer: There is no defined budget. If you would like to identify the cost of the basic items listed in the RFP and then potentially any other options which you feel may require further exploration - that would be very helpful. 4. Question: Is the Town requesting an in-person final presentation for this project - or any other in-person engagements beyond a minimum of one visit (1-2 business days) by the consultant during this project? Answer: I would expect the audit to include interviews with members of SIFD and surrounding FDs as well as others as needed. I would expect those to be conducted in person so it may require more than 1-2 days to complete all of that work. A final public presentation during a regularly scheduled Town Council meeting will be required. 5.
