Cedar Mills Wetlands have experienced significant hydrologic changes due to active beaver populations in the area. Beaver activity has altered flow patterns, resulting in exposure of a City of Beaverton owned sanitary sewer manhole. This project aims to restore the infrastructure integrity and preserving wetland and wildlife functionality by:Re-burying the exposed sanitary sewer manhole. Armoring the manhole with an embankment to provide long-term protection against erosion and hydrologic fluctuations. Preserving wetland health by accommodating natural wildlife activity and minimizing ecologic disturbance.
