Organizational ContextThe Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA or Agency) is a joint powers authority serving the City of Sacramento, County of Sacramento, and their respective housing authorities - the Housing Authority of the City of Sacramento ("HACS"), and the Housing Authority of County of Sacramento ("HACOS"). SHRA operates within a complex public-sector governance structure involving the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Commission, Sacramento City Council, and Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. The Executive Director of SHRA oversees operations for the Agency.SHRA employs approximately 300 permanent and temporary staff members. Through this informal solicitation, SHRA seeks to engage a qualified executive recruitment firm to assist in filling a full-time executive-level vacancy.
