The Town of Manchester Water Department (Department) is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to evaluate treatment alternatives for reducing concentrations of organic compounds and/or inorganic contaminants in water from Charter Oak Well #2a, #3 and #4, Love Lane Well #5, New State Road Well #6, #7a and #8, Parker Street Well #10 and Progress Drive Well #11 to meet future regulatory requirements. For contaminants that do not currently exceed public drinking water supply standards, this is a proactive step towards meeting the expected changes in future regulations.
