Environmental Monitoring Services for USDA Roadside Vegetation Management Risk Reduction

Description

The Town of Los Gatos (Town) is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified firms to provide Project Planning, Project Management, Environmental Consulting, and Biological Monitoring for roadside vegetation management fire risk reduction work along certain Town roadsides. Locations include hillside roadways that have been identified by the Town as roadways of high concern. The selected Submitter will be expected to deliver complete, high-quality services, and to consult and work with Town staff and contractors who are involved with the services. The Town has been awarded a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture to support implementation of a Roadside Vegetation Management Project (Project). This RFQ is focused on implementation of tasks that include community outreach, development of the plan and scope of field work for the Project, and Project Management, environmental oversight, permitting assistance if required, and documentation of contractor activities Permitting may be required along roadways adjacent to waterways and the selected consultant is expected to guide the Town on permit requirements. This project is partially funded by Federal funds and therefore is subject to the Federal guidelines as noted in the RFQ Documents. These documents, inclusive of attachments, will be part of the Agreement for Services. In submitting qualifications, Submitter agrees to abide by all the requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications and all Attachments.
